Nowadays, most businesses utilise Facebook in some way, but not all take advantage of the Business Studio feature. And if your business is one of those, you might be losing out on the chance to use Facebook and Instagram to reach a larger audience with your content. Learn more by reading on.

What is Facebook Business Studio?

Facebook states that you can develop, manage, promote, and analyse content across all your Pages and Instagram accounts using Facebook Creator Studio, a powerful tool. The coolest part is that it eliminates every distraction that comes with having personal Instagram and Facebook profiles.

However, using Facebook Business Studio requires learning a completely new interface. We realise it’s overwhelming. But we’re here to assist you.

Features of Facebook Creator Studio

The various features you can access in Facebook Business Studio and how you can access them are covered below.

Home

When you open Business Studio, the Home tab will be displayed. This page serves as the user’s dashboard, and is quite simple.

From the Home Tab, you can:

  • Make a post, a story, a video upload, or a live video.
  • View recommendations for account optimisation
  • View a summary of your insights.
  • View an overview of recent posts.
  • Look over the notifications

From the sidebar, you can access Business Studio features such as:

  • Insights
  • Content Library
  • Inbox
  • Rights Manager
  • Monetisation
  • Creative Tools
  • Settings
  • Resources
  • Write a post

Scheduling Facebook Posts in Business Studio

Although Facebook has always had these features, Facebook Business Studio lets you create, produce, and schedule posts from the app.

The “Create Post” button is always visible at the top of your sidebar. Accessing your posts’ drafts, planned posts, and previous posts from the Content Library gives Business Studio scheduling tools their full strength

Content Library

You may access your Facebook Pages’ posts in the Content Library within Facebook Business Studio.

When you initially arrive at the Content Library page, you’ll get a default summary of all your posts with the following columns of data:

  • Post (a text-and-media snapshot of your post)
  • Post Status Date Information (whether or not the post has been “boosted”)
  • Impressions
  • Reaching people
  • Clicks on Engagement Links
  • Comments\sShares
  • Reactions
  • Distribution

Hovering your mouse over the column headings will give you a quick summary of the data displayed if you need clarification on what columns in the table mean.

The top of the page has tabs that you can use to quickly filter your results. You’ll see that the default tabs are as follows:

  • Every post (default view)
  • All scheduled drafts are published
  • Views of 3-second videos that have expired
  • Views of 1-minute videos
  • You can choose from several choices to further filter your results below the Content Library tab.

You may decide on the following:

  • Post Formats
  • Date splices
  • Filters (a range of granular filtering options) (a variety of granular filtering options)

You can use the search bar to look for a particular post or set of posts.

The most effective tool in Business Studio is the insights feature. To enhance social media posts’ effectiveness and improve our digital marketing strategies, insights and data are essential.

As you may be familiar, this is where you can obtain metrics for reporting like:

  • Content effectiveness
  • Estimated income
  • Detailed knowledge of your audience

You can obtain the following insights by using the sidebar:

  • Various demographic, psychographic, and behavioural data are used to overview audience involvement.
  • Breakdown of video performance, with a list of the top videos
  • Video Loyalty – A summary of new viewers, their viewing habits, and the times of day they watch the most frequently.
  • Video Retention: An overview of the number of views, average viewing time, and number of video posts
  • Earnings – Analysis of the effectiveness of your Facebook Paid Ads (note: if you do not see this, you must configure monetisation in Creator Studio).
  • View your Stories analytics for up to 28 days with the Stories Performance feature. (Note: You must visit the page to enable this function.)
  • Breakdown of your sign-ups for Instant Articles Call-to-Action
  • Instant Articles Performance: A summary of your instant articles’ long-term performance

You can export insights at any moment by selecting the Export Data option in the top right corner of your screen.

Inbox

You can view all the comments and direct messages from all your accounts in the Facebook Business Studio Inbox. This useful feature makes it easier for you to maintain contact with your clients, customers, and fans. The best part is that the Inbox feature is free of obtrusive distractions like your obtrusive feed or personal Facebook alerts.

The Inbox enables you to view:

  • Messages on Facebook Messenger
  • Facebook notification of comments
  • Instagram notification of comments
  • Direct messages and Story mentions on Instagram

You may easily manage your notifications by using the helpful filters that come with each view.

By just reading unread messages, you can ensure that none are missed, and by marking messages for follow-up, you can quickly get in touch with anyone who needs further details or assistance.

This is excellent for providing first-rate customer service. This would make it possible for you to manage all of your engagement, which may be difficult with mobile apps if you have a large following for your company.

Monetisation

You can monetise your page by permitting advertisements to appear before, after, or surrounding your content. The guidelines for revenue vary on every platform, but Business Studio makes them easy to understand.

This page clarifies whether your page qualifies for monetisation and explains why. Additionally, they offer you the following tools and advice to get started with and maintain monetisation:

DO:

  • Keep current with Community Standards and Content Guidelines.
  • Create an active and consistent experience for your viewers by establishing a strong presence.

DON’T:

  • Post material you did not produce, do not own or have the right to use.
  • Post material that might be construed as fake information or news or encourage click-bait or sensationalism.
  • Participate in sharing activities that put distribution before quality.

You may now include “ad breaks” in your videos using Business Studio. Using this practical function, you may manage when an advertisement displays so that it keeps your viewers’ attention during a crucial moment. In addition, you can let Facebook choose the ad location on its own or select it manually.

Rights Director

You can effectively safeguard your copyrighted Instagram and Facebook content with the help of the Rights Manager feature. The technology will automatically identify audio and video content that matches yours to stop unauthorised usage of your content.

Facebook has always had the option to monitor for stolen content, but the process was complicated and required a third-party API connection. However, Facebook and reputable industry experts immediately integrated these functionalities into Creator Studio.

You must apply to request access to Rights Manager to use this function. Then, following your approval, you can upload reference files that Creator Studio will review and utilise to look for anything that violates your copyrights.

Facebook Business Studio

Business Studio is useful for anyone who oversees Facebook or Instagram profiles. You can monitor and control content performance even when it spans multiple pages. In addition, it allows communication with followers and offers insights into how your audience engages with your content.

It demonstrates the value Facebook places on video content and has the potential to serve as a central location for content administration and evaluation. In addition, it employs a straightforward, aesthetically beautiful design to avoid being overtaken by Facebook’s various features or cluttered.

Facebook sometimes has too many diversions and is cluttered. By eliminating those elements, Business Studio enables you to concentrate on handling your accounts.
