Bastion Engineering is a leading engineering and maintenance solutions provider. They specialise in providing customised engineering support and solutions to clients in the food processing, packaging and stretch wrapping industries.

Bastion came to us in need of a website for their business. When they enquired, they asked us to provide them with a site which would encourage leads, promote brand awareness and create more business for them.

Our main aim of this website was to clearly show the user how to contact Bastion. Previously, clients knew to contact individuals in the company. We wanted to change this so any contact would be made directly to the company. Working alongside this, we had a plan to increase inquiries directly from the website.

We wanted the site to look professional, work reliably and explain to potential customers why they should use Bastion for engineering support and solutions

For this website, we used WordPress to allow easy updates and changes in the future. This allowed us to create a clean and functional design with contact features at the centre. We included easy-to-use contact buttons, call buttons, and email buttons. All to help potential customers contact Bastion with ease.

As mobile use has so much popularity, we developed the menu, buttons and images to work perfectly on mobile as well as desktop views, analysing and optimising as we developed.

The design of the site is professional and clear for the user to navigate. The mobile view of the website is essential as most people looking at the services will be requiring assistance urgently. They will then be more inclined to quickly search up and browse on a mobile device, rather than travel back to a static desktop computer. Due to the desktop and mobile versions working well, this tells the user the site is trustworthy and builds confidence with potential customers.

Whilst making the site, we realised that the domain and server weren’t working together as they should. Because of this, emails were not being sent from the website. We overcame this problem to ensure all communication from the website to the business ran smoothly and efficiently.
